Jamie Simmonds who missed the 2021 season due to a shoulder injury shared on her Instagram stories that she was able to hold a barbell in back rack for the first time since shoulder surgery. It's a great sign for Simmonds in her rehab for 2022.

Emily Rolfe has received her invite to Wodapalooza in January. It's Rolfe's second trip to Miami. In her last visit to Wodapalooza she earned herself a ticket to the CrossFit games under the Sanctionals model, but it was later rescinded due to Covid and a modified games structure.

Brooke Wells received an invite to Wodapalooza in January. In an IG story she says "I wish I could compete but my elbow says otherwise". Its unfortunate news for fans, but hopefully she will be back and ready for the Open and the CrossFit Games season.
